Role: Sr. Product designer paired with client designer

Problem:
The Vice President of FOX’s IT group wanted to update the look and feel of their Apple TV experience for Screeners, a private screening application used by entertainment professionals and celebrities like former President Obama and Nicole Kidman.

Solution:
We created an updated style that incorporated the secure, intuitive, and pizazzy look and feel that FOX’s IT executive team wanted in the application.

Process:
Ran a mood boarding exercise with the Screener’s team and IT executive team to create a theme that felt secure, intuitive, and “pizazzy.” We explored various other Apple TV applications and ran empathy research sessions learning about what interactions and UI patters provided the best usability and delight for viewers and applied them to FOX’s Screener’s Apple TV application.
Provided three concepts for the executive team to choose from and after careful deliberation internally with the client, landed on a concept called Latitude – a simple, dual vertical scroll menu to manage their television and cinematic content.
